SBS drama “Pinocchio” to air 3 episodes including finale this week

We have both good news and bad news for fans of the ongoing SBSdrama Pinocchio, starring Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye! The good news is that three episodes of the drama are planned to air this week, but at the same time, Pinocchio will air its last episode this week as well.

Due to the SBS Drama Awards, the 16th episode of Pinocchio was pushed back to air in the following week. However, the drama is still on track as it has announced that it will air its final 20th episode on January 15th, this Thursday. Episodes 18 and 19 are scheduled to air back-to-back on January 14th, starting at 10PM KST.

Just this past week, Pinocchio topped the viewership ratings, competing against MBC‘s Kill Me Heal Me and KBS‘ The King’s Face.

In other news, the female lead of Pinocchio, Park Shin Hye, has been updating her Instagram account frequently with behind-the-scenes photos of the casts, bringing much attention with the actors and actresses’ close relationship.

The new drama Hyde, Jekyll, and I, starring Hyun Bin, Han Ji Min, Sung Joon, Girl’s Day Hyeri and more, will take over Pinocchio‘s timeslot and air its first episode on January 21st.

Netizens dig up past dating rumors between Girl’s Day Sojin and EXO’s D.O through nail art

Netizens are currently resurfacing past speculations of a possible relationship between Girl’s Day’s Sojin and EXO’s D.O through photos of Sojin with her “I <3 DO” nailart.

Photos by Korean news site datanews captured Sojin attending the 2014 F/W Seoul Fashion Week on March 26th, 2014, which have shown that she did have her nails painted with a special nail design by nail artist Sense Hong.

Sense Hong then updated their Instagram account on March 30th, 2014, showing proof that the design was specially made for Sojin. The post was captured with “#GirlsDay #Sojinie #nail #GirlsDay #joyrich #cross#eye #nail #nailart”.

While she had all her fingernails and toenails painted with unique designs, what stood out the most was the design on her right hand’s third finger, which drew an eye with eyelashes and wrote “I <3 DO” below. While it can also be read “I do”, this has brought much attention and is becoming a hot topic as the public is guessing if the DO was referring to EXO member D.O, since he has a unique name.

Sojin and D.O have been rumored to be dating for quite some time now, through alleged couple items, hidden messages and more.

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon made a special appearance on Chinese variety show Hurry Up, Brother as a surprise for his fangirl Angelababy!

Being a fixed member of the show, Angelababy was dancing along to G-Dragon’s hit song “Fantastic Baby,” but was shocked by the unexpected appearance of her idol. Her eyes were first covered and was presented with a life-sized cardboard cutout of G-Dragon, but her disappointment quickly disappeared when the real man showed up.

It was supposed to be a New Year’s surprise for the Chinese model-actress-singer based in Hong Kong, where she received the one-and-only autographed nametag that G-Dragon had when he went on SBS‘ Running Man in Korea.

Despite G-Dragon’s short screen appearance, he gave her a hug, giving her one of the best fanservice. When Angelababy invited G-Dragon to appear as a guest member ofHurry Up, Brother in the next season, G-Dragon readily said yes and expressed his hopes to join if time permits.

It has been reported that top Mando-pop celebrities including Show Luo, Cindy Wang, and JJ Lin are also appearing in this final episode for Hurry Up, Brother‘s first season.

G-Dragon had also made a short stint on the show in October last year through a phone call with Angelababy. The closeness between the two invited doubts, but Angelababy expressed that she is just a fangirl. Besides, G-Dragon has been spotted on numerous dates with his alleged girlfriend Kiko Mizuhara, hence clearing some of those doubts.

In other news, a recent Instagram post by G-Dragon has sparked curiosity if he is hinting on a solo comeback soon.

The episode with G-Dragon is scheduled to air on January 16th.

Despite not having any broadcast activities in South Korea, Big Bang’s G-Dragonbriefly appears on Hurry Up, Brother, the Chinese version of hit Korean variety show,Running Man. 

On the October 24th broadcast of the show, Chinese model, actress and singerAngela Baby, who is also a fixed member, was in the middle of a task when she received a phone call from G-Dragon.

Speaking in both English and Chinese, Angela Baby couldn’t hide her delight from the unexpected call. G-Dragon eventually reveals that he was in Singapore for a show, further asking Angela Baby for strength.

Fans previously noticed the closeness of the two after they were spotted at the2012 MAMA in Hong Kong, with the rumours resurfacing at the same event the following year. The speculations led to G-Dragon to clarify that the two are merely close friends with Angela Baby admitting that she’s a fan.

Hurry Up, Brother, the Chinese version of hit Korean variety show Running Man, is a co-production between SBS and Zhejian Television. It started airing last October 10th.

Netizens show hate towards Nichkhun after Tiffany wears red Mickey Mouse beanie

2PM‘s Nichkhun was spammed on Twitter with hate comments after his girlfriend, Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany, uploaded several selcas of herself wearing a red Mickey Mouse beanie. 

The selcas, posted on January 8th, gained negative attention from anti-fans because Tiffany was wearing Nichkhun’s favorite color (red) and his favorite cartoon character (Mickey Mouse).

The attention spilled onto Nichkhun as anti-fans left a splurge of hateful comments on Nichkhun’s Twitter, causing the male idol to take action and block some anti-fans from his Twitter account.

Some netizens tweeted messages regarding Taeyeon and Tiffany’s relationship (Taeny) over Nichkhun and Tiffany’s (Khunfany), such as “when jesus say taeny nobody can say khunfany” and using the hashtag #TaeyeonIsTheRealThaiPrince. Others tweeted messages like “i wish you would die soon =],”  “You’re so stupid haha i laugh in your face! HAHAHA YOU GET INTO THE WRONG PLACE! Monkey face you shoul shave eyebrows :s,” and “come block me douchebag” to provoke the idol.

In response to the negative tweets, other netizens took to sending many supporting messages to Nichkhun, showing their love and support for the artist and his relationship.

Nichkhun and Tiffany’s relationship was revealed to the public in April 2013 after the couple was spotted on an alleged date, leading to their respective agencies to confirm that the couple is in a relationship and had been dating for four monthsprior to the reveal.
