Taeyang’s Hong Kong Concert Sold Out: A Succesful Beginning
YG’s TAEYANG kicked off his first solo World Tour “RISE” in huge success.
On
Jan 10, his concert held in Hong Kong’s Asia World Expo Hall 8 and 10
was completely filled with 4,200 fans. The show was sold out
immediately.
Opening the concert with
“BODY,” the song included in his 2nd full album, he moved on to perform
series of his songs to “Super Star,” showcasing a perfect concert with
this groovy dance moves and incredible live singing. He certainly heated
up the entire stadium.
He showcased
songs like “MOVE” and “YOU’RE MY”, melting the hearts of those women
fans, while inviting one of them on stage to do a performance for “I
NEED A GIRL.”
TAEYANG commented, “I
walked a long journey for this concert. It took me 4 years to release
“RISE” and I have been waiting for this for the last 4 years,” and
added, “When I record songs, walk, eat, or when I sleep, I have been
dreaming about this moment.”
He also
unveiled “GOOD BOY” that he and G-DRAGON released last year, performing
it alone for the first time. He left the local audience in awe with more
than 20 songs.
After the successful
concert in Hong Kong, he will move on to Japan’s Osaka Kyocera Dome from
Jan 16 to 18 for BIGBANG’s Japan 5 Dome Tour. He then will move on to
Shanghai, Beijing, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Taiwan
every weekend to continue on with the concert.
