Since media in Korea began breaking news that Lee Joon and Thunder would be leaving MBLAQ, J.Tune has kept quiet on the situation. Now, the company has released its first official statement.
Just moments after it was reported that MBLAQ member Lee Joon would be leaving the group, reports came out that Thunder (Chundoong) would also join him in exiting MBLAQ.
Media reported that Thunder would be halting all activities and focusing on himself as a solo artist moving forward.
Now, J.Tune Camp has released its first official statement on the matter, revealing that discussions are still ongoing. A representative revealed, "Lee Joon will be participating in the November concerts. We will be taking into consideration the other members’ wishes and thoughts along with the agency’s decisions to come to an official conclusion. Our agency will also be working hard to make the best decisions for MBLAQ.”
The company finished its statement revealing that a full statement will be released once a decision has been made.
This statement follows the same lines as what insiders reported revealing, “The news of his leave was intended to be revealed after the completion of their concert, but it has been announced sooner than expected. An official statement from MBLAQ’s agency will be made soon.”
