2NE1’s iconic music video for “I AM THE BEST” has reached 100 million views!
The video was uploaded on June 27th, 2011 on 2NE1’s official YouTube channel and it’s amazing to see that we’ve been graced by these awesome ladies’ talents for 5 years!
The song was produced by YG Family’s very own Teddy Park and the music video was directed by Seo Hyunseung, who also directed previous 2NE1 music videos such as “Fire”, “Try To Follow Me”, and “Can’t Nobody”.
"I AM THE BEST" is known as one of 2NE1’s most defining songs. It’s a definite crowd-pleaser at their concerts that never fails to amp up Blackjacks everywhere. The song is so well-loved, it won the "Song Of The Year" award at the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards!
The song also gained much Western attention. “I AM THE BEST” was featured in a commercial for Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3 and on “So You Think You Can Dance”!
